Cleveland Flowering Pear
The Cleveland Select flowering pear tree, Pyrus calleryana, 'Cleveland Select', has more blooms than any other flowering pear tree. There?s nothing more beautiful in spring than a flowering pear tree covered in snowy white blooms. Cleveland Select pear trees display evenly branched limbs with pyramidal form. This deciduous tree is a vigorous growing medium sized tree with masses of white flowers in spring. This is an excellent street tree with beautiful purplish-red fall color. It has an attractive upright oval form and glossy green leaves. The Cleveland Select Pear reaches a height of 30 feet and width of 15 feet. This pear has a superior branch structure that withstands ice and wind damage better than the Bradford Pear. It is fruitless and has few pest problems. It tolerates urban conditions, and heavy clay soils.

Spiraea - Snowmound
The Snowmound Spirea, Spiraea nipponica, is an excellent dwarf shrub, with dense dark green foliage and masses of pure white flowers in May. Great for use as a foundation plant, in the shrub border or in a garden situation. Prune in the early spring before growth starts if shaping is needed and then again after the flowers are done blooming. This deciduous shrub prefers full sun to partial shade. It does best in well-drained soil with moderate to high levels of moisture. Prune older stems to the ground to thin and rejuvenate.

Chuckles
The Chuckles rose is a hardy Canadian-bred shrub that can be grown as a small climber or pruned as a bush. Chuckles roses bloom in clusters.The double fuchsia blooms are 2½" across and quite fragrant. It will grow 5' to 6' tall, with yellow-green foliage. It will repeat its bloom again later in the season.

Sonata
The Sonata apple has a taste that is similar to a Golden. It is a medium sized apple with excellent flavor. It is a very attractive apple, with a bright, pinkish red blush over a yellow background. With a firm and finely grained, creamy colored flesh, it is cold hardy and highly precocious and productive. The Sonata keeps well in storage, retaining its flavor essences better than Gala. We highly recommend Sonata for hobbyists and home gardeners as this is truly a gourmet apple. Sonata apple trees have low to medium vigor. Matures similar to Golden Delicious. Primary assets are the combined excellent cosmetics with a pleasant exciting flavor.

Horsechestnut Buckeye
The Horsechestnut Buckeye tree, Aesculus hippocastanum, is a beautiful, round-headed tree perfectly suited for use in smaller yards. This flowering tree has long, dense clusters of single, bright-red flowers and are very attractive and favored by hummingbirds. Horsechestnut Buckeye trees are deciduous. This tree is widely planted in parks, avenues and in large gardens. This tree bloomes in early summer with individual flowers that have crumpled white petals which ages to dull red. Fruits have a leathery case covered with short prickles and in autumn release large seeds. The dark green foliage turns yellow-brown in fall. The nuts produced by this species are inedible. Wildlife such as squirrels gather many, and plant those that they don't eat. These trees prosper in full sun and also attracts butterflies.

Gourmet Dwarf
The Gourmet Dwarf produces medium sized fruit that is greenish yellow to yellow in color. It has a thick but tender skin. The flesh is yellowish, crisp juicy and very sweet. It is a perfect pear to serve for dessert. The 'Gourmet' is pollen sterile, which means that it cannot be used to pollinate a second pear tree. The Gourmet trees are upright and medium in size.

Privet - Chinese South
The Chinese South Privet, Ligustrum sinense, is an abundant semi-evergreen small tree or large shrub, most commonly found invading the understory of moist areas. Copious amounts of fruits are produced. The berries turn black when ripe and are gobbled up by birds, which spread the seeds far and wide. The foilage is sometimes so thick that nothing can grow underneath the shrub. It usually reaches a height of 15 feet and has pretty white flowers in the late spring. Its oval leaves are dark green.
