Sweet Bay Magnolia
The Sweetbay Magnolia tree, Magnolia virginiana , is also called sweetbay, swampbay, or swamp magnolia. This tree is often grown as an ornamental landscape tree because of its attractive foliage, flowers, and fruit. It occurs naturally in moist and wet soils in wetland areas such as swamps and along streams and ponds. Large, multi-stemmed and evergreen this magnolia is noted for its creamy white flower whose fragrance has been described as cool, sweet, and fruity. The leaves, pale green with silvery underside and crimson fruiting cones, are unmistakable. The fruits provide a good food source for many wildlife species, such as, turkey, quail, and numerous songbirds. Sweetbay magnolia is a medium, evergreen tree that generally has a pen crown of sparsely spreading branches, and it is deciduous in the northern United States.

Goldstrike
The Goldstrike apricot has large and firm fruit. The fruit is round to slightly oval and is very large when well-thinned. The skin is a light-orange color and slightly glossy. A reddish blush covers up to 20% of the side that is exposed to the sun. The flesh is light orange, firm, meaty and moderately juicy. Some acidity is associated with the skin. The pit is medium-large and free from the flesh. Goldstrike is not suitable for canning. Goldstrike trees bloom heavily but fruit set is often moderate to light under natural pollination. This apricot has excellent eating quality. It will cross-pollinate with the Goldbar.

Kentucky Coffee Tree
The Kentucky Coffee Tree, Gymnocladus Dioicus, may also be known as American coffee berry, Kentucky mahogony, nicker treet, or stump tree. Kentucky Coffee trees are large round-barked trees belonging to the legume family and reaches heights of 60 to 100 feet. Its short trunk, 1 to 2 feet in diameter, divides into several large branches. The leaves are ovalish and are 2-4 inches long. An unofficial state tree of Kentucky, the Kentucky Coffee Tree is closely related to the honeylocust. This deciduous tree is ideal as a shade tree on larger, ungroomed properties. It got its name because early North American colonists used the large seeds to make coffee. When eaten raw, the seeds are poisonous. The bark is deeply furrowed and dark brown in colour. It adapts well to urban conditions. Fall color is yellow turning to orange.

The Eastern White Pine, Pinus Strobus, is a beautiful landscape pine widely used throughout much of North America. This evergreen conifer tree is a truly magnificent tree attaining a height of 80 feet at maturity with a diameter of two to three feet. It carries long, soft bluish green needles with large brown cones. Eastern White Pine trees are widely used as a screen or windbreak. It grows rapidly for a pine tree and is pyramidal shaped when young, becoming umbrella-shaped with age. The White Pine tree is long-lived and vigorous. The White Pine takes six to eight years to produce a six-foot tree on good sites. It grows best in full sun or partial shade and in ordinary soil. It can tolerate wet, swampy areas. Space 6 ft. apart for screening purposes. It is easily controlled, and is good for small properties as well as field plantings. Also widely used for Christmas trees and timber.
