Evergreen conifer with flat deep green fan-like foliage. Leaves edged with blue on the undersides. Pea-sized cones. Beautiful uncommon evergreen which is the smallest of the species. Water/Stone Landscape Scene Ceramic Bonsai Pot - 8÷x 6÷
The rocks selected for this unusual arrangement are imported and washed in acid, making them strikingly unique. We then cut and cement the rocks to one side of the pot, leaving an ample well between them to hold water. A ceramic bridge is cemented to the rocks on either side. A pagoda figurine is also added and cemented to the stone located above the bridge. To complete the scene, we cement a miniature, glazed, mud figurine fisherman who overlooks the water and holds a fishing pole with miniature fish (included). A large area on the opposite side of the pot is provided for your planting, and decorative pebbles are furnished to spread over the new soil. Podocarpus (podocarpus macrophyllus)
Aka Buddhist Pine or Chinese Yew. The Podocarpus is a dense evergreen with pointed, leathery, dark green leaves arranged on stiff, symmetrical branches. The tree which is unisexual, has male flowers in cones and female flowers composed of cylindrical thickened scales. The fruits are edible, pendiculate, fleshy and brightly colored. Japanese Five Needle Pine(pinus parvifolia)
This Japanese White Pine is the most commonly used Pine for bonsai in Japan. It is an evergreen with very short stiff needles forming blue/green tufts of foliage at the branch tips creating an overall fine texture to the tree silhouette.
